I'm a high school "Narc" and have been for 24 years and I love it.  It is like going back to high school with all of the fun and none of the problems or homework. I'm still going to Proms, football games and basketball games and get paid for it. It doesn't get any better.  The kids all call me "Mom" and confide in me and tell me all (some, a little too much). It is so rewarding when graduation rolls around and I get thank you notes from students that say "thank you for always listening and being there for me". I've run into students years later who have come up and thanked me for "busting" them for drugs and getting them on the right track. This is what it is all about. I LOVE my job ...
